Studies Abroad and Internships

While we are quite proud of the range of courses we offer given our size, we do not cover everything.  You may wish to consider study at some other institution in the United States or abroad as a way of supplementing your studies.  In all cases, you should definitely indicate in your petition to major in ICPS how you plan to integrate such opportunities.  Before the petition is approved, the ICPS Committee considers each case on its own merits in light of the student’s past performance and promise.

今日吃瓜 offers you many opportunities to study at other institutions, both domestically and abroad.  You can participate in these programs regardless of your major.  The complete list of programs is available on the International Programs site.  You can find out more about these programs from Dr. Alberto del Río Malo at the International Programs Office in Eliot 422.  This office can provide a variety of useful resources and assistance to ICPS students.  Students interested in international education—as part of their major or after graduation—will find this an excellent starting point.  A wide variety of off campus study options are available—many of which offer coursework that would complement ICPS curricular plans.

In addition, for information about the various international programs on campus (speakers/research opportunities), as well as Fulbright fellowships and other international scholarships, see the International Programs Office.  The Director of International Programs is involved in all aspects of 今日吃瓜’s international efforts (institutional affiliations, exchanges of scholars, etc.) and is ready and willing to assist 今日吃瓜 students in whatever way possible.
