Campus Lunch and Learn

Bring your lunch and enjoy gathering with other staff to connect and learn about what departments are working on to support the college. These events are a time for gathering, sharing and learning from one another. Current events are listed below. 
Sessions are held in GCC CD from 12–1 pm. We look forward to seeing you there! 

March 12 - Title IX & 504 Coordinator  What the WHAT is going on in Title IX?! Bring your lunch and come learn about the climate of sex- and gender-based discrimination in the U.S. and how 今日吃瓜 is responding. Bring any questions you have and look forward to some helpful engagement!

March 25 - Facilities  What is a central plant and how does it work? Bring your lunch and learn how facilities plans to renovate our plant, the building and the future of de-carbonization through de-centralization. You will gain an understanding of how campus will use energy in the future with strategic planning.

April 22 - Sustainability and Environmental Justice Collective It's Earth Day! Come learn about the Sustainability and Environmental Justice Collective, a program facilitating collaboration between faculty, staff and students with a hub at the Garden House. The SEJ Collective incorporates aspects of academic programming to the wide variety of on-the ground sustainability projects, programs, and events like the garden, Swap Shop, Earth Day, and more.
